Pitching and rebranding a 7-figure hospitality technology company

Company rebrand, new marketing materials, social media management and events

Tevalis is Hospitality Technology that specialises in electronic point of sales system and providing an eco-system of hardware, software and integrations to improve hospitality efficiency.

From 2021 - 2022, I Jake Hall, worked for them as a Content Designer. In my tenure I pitched and implemented a brand refresh, managed their social media platforms, designed numerous marketing materials and developed large scale print for events.

Here’s just a few key projects I worked on 👇

1. Brand refresh

The branding for Tevalis had not being revised for years and had not moved in line with digital best practices. Seeing this need as the business was moving through a transition, I pitched some concepts and justifications I devised. The revised designs moved the dots to the side of the logo, allowing for the symbol and word mark to be separated. This reduced wasted space and made it more easily applicable for social media, websites and other formats in addition to posing a more modern, refreshed look.

2. New printed marketing materials

Several large products included the redesign of a 40-page brochure, new flyers, events materials and large print. During this process the creative was refreshed, laying the ground work for a brand refresh. Once again moving in line with modern, bold, contrasting and minimalist design trends. These algin with creating an eye catching, accessible brand that is cohesive across numerous platforms.

3. Large scale event materials

Tevalis has frequently being attended and sponsored events such as Casual Dining Expo, Food and Drink Expo and more. This involved supporting on stand design as well as large scale print for the sponsored lounge. There was a key balance in highlighting USPs, how many businesses they serve and selling on the products. In addition to provide all the marketing materials, merchandise such as tote bags and more.

4. Social Media Management

The Linkedln saw a significant overhaul in it’s approach to copywriting and creatives. Graphics focused on more accessible, contrasting designs with reduced text and clear USP’s as well as shifting focus to less ‘sales content’ and more social proofing. This saw increased engagement up to 11%, over 20k impressions a month and positive feedback from partners and clients.
